ITBP ASSISTANT SERGEON RECRUITMENT 2024:-Online Application are invited from male & Female eligible Indian Citizens for filling up following vacancies to the post of Assistant Surgeon Veterinary of Central Government Group-A Gazetted Combatised Post on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police . On joining the organization, the candidates shall be governed by ITBP Act, 1992 and ITBP Rules, 1994 and other Rules applicable form time to time. The post has all Indian liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. This is a combatised post and selected candidates shall have to war the rank and badges of the post as per orders/ instructions issued by the Central Government form time to time. Notes:-

- 10% vacancies are reserved for ex-serviceman. In case vacancy reserved for Ex-servicemen remains unfilled due to non-availability of eligible or qualified candidates, the same shall be filled by non Ex-serviceman candidates of respective categories.
Age Limit:– 35 Thirty Five years(Relaxable for Government servants upto five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time)
Education Qualification:-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized university.
- Registration with the Veterinary Council of India.
Cutt- off date of Age and Relaxations:
1 .Crucial date for Birth recorded in the Matriculation certificate available on the date of submission of application shall be accepted as proof for determining the age and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.
2. The OBC Candidates must produce OBC Certificate based on the income for the financial year 2023-24,2022-23 and 2023 and issued on /after 01.04.2024 but not later than the closing date of application for examination.
3. Candidates who wish to be considered against reserved vacancies or seeking age relaxation must submit requisite certificate issued by the competent authority.
4. The formats of the certificates Annexure-I,II,II-A,IV,V, VI & VII are annexed . Certificate obtained any other format will not be accepted.
5. Age relaxation available to different categories of eligible candidates are as
Pay Scale and other allowances:-
| Pay | Level-10(Rs. 56100-177500) in the Pay Matrix (as 7th CPC). |
| Other Allowances | Post will carry Dearness Allowances, Special Compensatory Allowances (while posted in specified border areas) free accommodation or HRA. Transport Allowances, Non Practicing Allowances (NPA), Leave Travel Concession, free medical facilities and any other allowance as admissible in the Force form time to time under the Rules/ Institutions. |
| On Appointment | The candidates shall be entitled for the pension benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government Services w.e.f 01.01.2004 |
